Moderator Note

Dear Moderator,

The brief for my A2 coursework was to create a music video, digipak and website for an artist. I chose the track, Black and Yellow because it was a song with an existing video and was both familiar for my partner and I. I also chose it due to my interest in the hip hop genre and its ever growing popularity in media products.

My target audience were people similar to myself. Teenagers who have a strong interest in hip hop/rap music and may watch/purchase media products similar to mine. I've based all my media products around them and believe they relate well. I feel like I've taken feedback on board well and applied it where I've needed to.

I've used labels throughout my blog for an easier navigation.

Luke, as discussed, replace the original video with your own once completed on your website. I can see a clear theme and style linked to the digipak. I would look again at the layout and style- there seems to be quite a lot of blank spacing- especially after the embedded video and a lack of text. look again at the mark scheme for webpage and make some tweaks.

This is my second draft of my digipak after i took on board feedback from my teacher and the target market. I also researched a little deeper into how to design an effective and realistic digipak.

Luke- I liked the initial front cover for the digipak- the smoke effect worked well. The rest of the panes look a bit bland and the space needs to be filled more effectively. The font on the back pane is very hard to read and that is important info so make that clearer. Do you have any images that are not as distorted so we can see the artist more clearly\?
